If you have received a court summons complaint or judgment for unpaid hire after March 1, 2020, assist is available through Macomb Ho meless Coalition at (586) 213-5757. There is an awarding that needs to be printed and emailed. If you demand help with this, please feel free to telephone call Samaritan House.

Lakeshore Legal Help is offering Gratis legal services in Macomb County. A pply online at michiganlegalhelp.org or telephone call their hotline at 888-783-8190.

11th Annual Pasta & Chicken Dinner

Our commencement fundraiser of the yr was held at Greystone Golf Social club on Wed, Feb ninth. At that place was a smaller oversupply this year, only it was a wonderful evening of fun and we came very close to reaching our goal of raising $15,000!
In one case again Greystone Golf Society helped us to make this a beautiful evening. The food was fantastic and our strolling magician, Jason Abbott, absorbed united states with his magic. How does he light his wallet on fire and not fire himself? Peradventure we tin find out next year.

There were 47 raffle baskets, a Money/Gift Card tree worth over $one,500 and a fifty/50 drawing! We saw a lot of smiles with all of those prize winners! Nosotros were blessed to take the winners of the 50/50 drawing donate their portion back to Samaritan Business firm!

In January, Samaritan House...

  • provided food to 132 families.

  • delivered food to 37 homebound clients.

  • provided $472.71 for utility aid to a family of three.

  • provided $one,675.61 for car repairs and plumbing repairs for two families.

  • $ix,740.54 was spent on food to stock our pantry for our clients.

  • 50 volunteers donated a total of 918.25 volunteer hours to our mission!
